Frequently Asked Questions About Our Cottages

  • q-iconQ1 - DO YOU HAVE WIFI?

    Yes, both The Orchard and The Old Bakery has free Wi-Fi.

  • q-iconQ2 - DO YOU ALLOW DOGS?

    The Orchard cottage is dog friendly and has an enclosed decked area attached. We charge an additional £25.00 for your pet. This includes their own welcome gift.

    The Old Bakery is not pet friendly.

  • q-iconQ3 - HOW MUCH OF YOUR GARDENS ARE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS TO USE?

    All of our 2.5 Acres of cottage garden and orchard are at your disposal for the duration of your stay.

    We have fantail doves, two ponds with Koi and other fish, an Apriary with Bee Hives at the far end of the Orchard and varied wildlife visiting including common deer, muntjacs and rare birds.

  • q-iconQ4 - IS THERE PARKING?

    Both cottages have one allocated off road secure parking space.

    If you require space for a 2nd vehicle, we cater for this with prior notice.

  • q-iconQ5 - ARE BOOKINGS ONLY FRIDAY TO FRIDAY?

    Booking is flexible. Both the arrival day and the number of nights you wish to stay.

  • q-iconQ6 - ARE THERE MANY FOOTPATHS NEARBY ?

    Yes. There are numerous foot paths starting with the village.

    It is a walkers paradise, with Dedham Vale (An area of outstanding natural beauty) on our door step and the coast is only 15 minutes drive away.

  • q-iconQ7 - HOW FAR IS THE NEAREST PUB?

    The Shepherd is a traditional villiage pub, serving excellent food with a good selection of Ale. It is dog friendly and under a mile away.

    Langham also boasts a very well stocked community shop, which is also under a mile away.
